CHARITIES I SUPPORT

Dani Henderson has known and worked with this charity organization for more than 5 years. She and others funded and sent many musical instruments to the ghetto they live in so that their music teacher, Ivan Wanje could teach them to give them a chance in life. His organization is called A GIFT IN ME and he aims to try to keep children in school because in Uganda many children end up on the streets or in a life or crime without education. They are aiming to build a school - 45 children, 1st grade and Kindergarten. We need to fund 13 Staff and 45 Children. The cost of food per year to give the children breakfast and lunch is $73, 800 - The salaries for 13 teachers and staff is $28,900 - The building to purchase and land is $11, 800 - there are other costs to fund but these are the main ones. Is there people to help, is there a grant they can claim? Is their engineers out there willing to help building a basic decent water system? We will keep reporting on the development of this beautiful school and some of the profit from the last GSIC has already gone into the children and their dream for a school. They are based in Kampala, Uganda.
